Terms of Service
Last Revised: September 18, 2026 • Associated Website: https://nodeclient.app
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using NodeClient or any of its associated services (including the NodeAuth authentication framework and the website at https://nodeclient.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms stated herein, you must immediately uninstall and cease all use of NodeClient.
2. Minecraft EULA & Ownership
NodeClient requires a legitimate, licensed copy of Minecraft Java Edition purchased from Mojang or Microsoft. You agree to comply with the official Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and Mojang Commercial Usage Guidelines.
NodeClient does not provide, distribute, or circumvent Minecraft game files or licensing protections. Game binaries and assets are downloaded directly from Mojang's official content delivery network upon authenticating with a valid Microsoft account via NodeAuth.
3. NodeAuth Framework & Account Responsibility
NodeAuth facilitates authentication directly through Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 endpoints. You understand and agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and physical security of your local device and operating system user account.
- NodeClient does not have access to your Microsoft credentials or passwords and cannot recover lost Microsoft accounts. For Microsoft account recovery, you must contact Microsoft Support directly.
- You must not use NodeAuth to automate unauthorized logins, conduct credential stuffing, or violate Microsoft's Services Agreement.
4. Multiplayer Server Rules & Fair Play
NodeClient is built to be a utility and performance optimization tool. While NodeClient strives to maintain full compatibility with major server rules (e.g., Hypixel Network, Minemen Club), individual Minecraft server administrators have the autonomy to establish their own rules and prohibited modifications.
You agree to abide by the rules of any multiplayer server you join. NodeClient is not responsible for any in-game disciplinary actions, server bans, or suspensions resulting from your playstyle or custom configurations.
5. Open Source Mods & Third-Party Addons
NodeClient integrates with community mod ecosystems (such as Fabric, Forge, Modrinth, and CurseForge) and bundles select open-source performance mods (such as Sodium and Iris) in strict compliance with their respective open-source licenses (MIT, LGPL, GNU GPL).
Third-party mods downloaded through the launcher remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. NodeClient disclaims any liability for third-party mod bugs, incompatibilities, or game save corruptions.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
NODECLIENT AND NODEAUTH ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE NODECLIENT DEVELOPMENT TEAM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE NODECLIENT TEAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
